In 2021, I bought my 2017 Corolla used- the seller and I met at Long's to assess the car. Eli didn't charge me a single dime to make sure the car I bought had no issues. I've been coming here ever since for my Winter/Summer checkups. They never overcharge me and never try to sell me more than what I need. I always come in with money in hand telling them money is no object for my 'baby' but even still, they always come through for me with great service and an honest look into my car's current and upcoming needs.

Had a really bad experience and had to come here cause no conversation led to any consideration. Asked for a diagnosis on why air vent was making noise when fan turned on and even asked what would be the charge for labor for diagnosis for this on call. They mentioned "We don't have a charge like that but not more than $66, I think it'll be even less than that." Kept the car there mentally ready to pay at most $66 and then got a bill of $105. Apparantly they saw leaves on the blower motor and cleaned it up and reinstalled it. So, they "fixed" the car. I mentioned I wasn't ready to pay more than $66 today for the diagnosis and that no communication was made from their end. They just did it and handed me double the price that I was then obligated to pay! No consideration, no communication!!

I recommend this shop of any in Champaign/Urbana and any surrounding town honestly. Their service was amazing. Their consideration of my time allowed me to get in quickly, and they even unlocked the office a few minutes early for me so I could make it to my meeting. Highly recommend Longs Garage!! Conveint location too!

In theory, this is a great garage. People have told us to go here. My partner took her car here, after it got broken into. They gave a weeks wait (fine, seems typical nowadays) to bring it in. We bring it in on a Sunday night for a Monday look. Everyone kept saying they would call her back and updated. First saying it would be finished by the end of the week, but waiting on parts from very far (not) Napletons. Well it turned into TWO different times of saying they would be done by a certain day and not doing it. Second time she left work early and it wasn't done... Every update, SHE needed to call. 2 of the 3 finishing times were WRONG. To top it all off the parts put in did not match the existing key fob, so she had a new loose set of keys. When asked why, oh that's just the parts napletons had and didn't even call to give her an option. No discount or acknowledgement of poor communication. When she went to pick up the car they just said "who told you that?" I, on the other hand had some maintenence on my car (a week wait) BUT parts ordered same day AND fixed my a competitor. We will not be patrons at Longs again.

I have been searching for a great auto place ever since I moved to Champaign. I think I finally found it! The customer service here (I met with Eli) is wonderful, and the integrity of the work is equally so. I didn't even ask for them to change out a brake light, but since they noticed one was out, they did it free of charge. I can't believe how kind these people are. If you're looking for a place you can trust, these are the people.
